Christina Wickers On ESPN for Hope For Kids

Watch Christina Wickers on ESPN on Saturday 9/19/2009 accept an award from LA Galaxy at the LA Galaxy v. Toronto FC game on behalf of HOPE FOR KIDS 7:00ish.

It was a real kick to see the Boy Hits Car video from 2001 on youtube. I'm in a pink dress all punked out. Reminds me of Luis Leonard, shout out to you Rock Star; Shawn Foster; and Chantal aka bettycola! For some odd reason this video also reminds me of yoga and El Coyote.

There will be 24 hours of fun! Each team walks/jogs/runs around the track. Many of the teams will camp out on the field during the evening for festivities and fun! There will be much entertainment including live bands, games and masseurs. Some teams wear costumes! Get your friends involved. Get your company involved! Spread the word. Word? Ahh the fun of it all!

ABOUT THE SHOW:
For 8 weeks of Dick and Don's Fabulous 60's Rock and Soul Spectacular, at the American Renegade Theater. The entire ensemble cast moved to new venues on December 22, 2002. In the show, Christina Wickers plays notable roles of Cher, Merrilee Rush, The Angels, Leslie Gore, Mama's and Papa's, and Smith The show had a special performance for! 1,200 members of City of Angels on March 1, 2003 as well as September 12, 13th and 14th of 2003, at the El Portal Theater in North Hollywood and is returning for a charity event for the Womens Club of Hollywood on March 3, 2006 and again in October 2006 in Santa Monica.

Sometimes Cactus Can Be Pretty

It was a rainy Southern California Night. The water jumped for the light and made me wonder at the beauty. I could hardly not stop to stare. The view was a reminder of the intangible glory that is this place around me always will afford. Not the street nor houses or even the cactus. But the greater of those. The sum of its parts that equals the joy that the world brings to me. That God lends to me to assist me on my journey. The journey may sometimes be a bit precarious and even worse, prickly. I have the gift of comrades for assistance. I have been told they are "angels without wings." When the night grows near I can lay my head down as God's world watches and moves splendidly as I sleep.

My Ideal Roomate aka Carnegie 911

I've been looking for the most ideal roommate in the ENTIRE WORLD. These are the criterion. I like to call them Rule 13. In accordance with Rule 13, I expect and dream about my roomie for life. A life time of a person with Rule 13 qualities would do wonders for my mental state. If you do not fit these qualities, please contact someone ELSE because I will NEVER get along with YOU.




13. You must be female and resemble the Cheshire cat.




13. You have to convince me to move in and be completely contrary in action to everything you previously stated about yourself.



13. This is very important: you must insist that there are "no rules" before I move in.




13. You MUST not be able to control yourself from leaving me post-it notes almost every day.




a. I like especially ones that say, "don't open the blinds." (Because you are afraid people from the apartments will look in.)





b. Also, "this isn't mine." (When my peanuts are on a shared shelf.) Little will you realize half of the other things in there are also mine.





c. Additionally, you will say, "you left some sugar on the counter," When I haven't even used sugar for two weeks.





d. You must also post, "you don't clean MY fork properly so DO NOT USE." (Later I look at the fork and it's clean.)





13. You make me leave my silverware on a low shelf so every time I go to use it, I have to bend over.




13. Also, when I'm outside talking on the phone you will shout, "There is a minimum amount of times you can come in and out of the house." I'm pretty sure you would mean "maximum."




13. When I ask you for a drawer for my silverware, after you have warned me off yours, you will reply, "There are enough of your things in my house. I'm not making any more room for you."




13. When I ask you how you day was you will walk away and ignore me. (Absolute must. I can't live otherwise. I think I'd die.)




13. Further, if I knock on your door you won't answer. Let's be clear. . .you are not deaf.




13. You must like to move my things around and put them in the garage.




13. You must LOVE to stomp up and down the stairs and slam doors.




13. You must yell things through my door, like "just 10 more months together," and "love ya."




13. You must lie to the neighbors and tell them I'm "mean" but also that I "won't do anything to them."



13. You will never say thank you when I go out of my way for you. You will make excuses why what I did had no real relevance to your needs.



13. You will leave my utility check on the counter for two weeks just to show me you don't need the money even though you only have a roommate to help with your mortgage.



13. You will park your car to obstruct mine from getting out so I feel like I'm being held hostage.



13. You must be nice to the neighbors but not to me.



13. Accuse me of having a "party" when I invite a friend and her fiance over for dinner.



13. Be really impressed when you come home from a party where there were "professional" men to talk to.



13. You will say your "friends" are comming over. . . and they never do.



13. You must never bring up the fact that you have seen these 13 Rules.

13. You must always send me money when you owe it to me. I love that.

I really don't think it is too much to ask for. There is actually much more I would like you to do but, we can discuss in the interview process before you convince me to move in under false pretenses.
